DIN SPEC 25713:2017-02

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure was developed within a workshop set up on a temporary basis. The DIN SPEC was developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This document describes a non-destructive test method to evaluate the quality of machined parts made of fibre reinforced plastics (FRP). Evaluation can be carried out in production without the need for elaborate measuring equipment. The method can be applied without restrictions to all FRP and addresses all imperfections (fraying, delamination and splintering) on machined edges, for example after milling and drilling. This method is primarily used to evaluate the top layers.
