The aim of the standardization project is the development of standards for the description of service catalogues as a foundation to harmonize and to objectify the expectations of the involved parties. It is intended improve the planning of outsourcing projects and to provide a reliable basis. The following objectives will be covered by the standarization project - Development of consistent terminology for service catalogues as a foundation for a common semantic basis. - Development of a reference model for service catalogues - Development of a process model for the creation of service catalogues in outsourcing projects.
