DIN SPEC 77229-2:2017-09

This DIN SPEC has been drawn up by a temporary body ('Workshop') in accordance with the PAS procedure. This DIN SPEC has been developed and adopted by the authors named in the Foreword. This DIN SPEC will specify a standard for service categories and their contents in apparatus and machinery installation and maintenance for industrial process engineering systems. The above categories and their contents will be used as a basis for describing and assessing work items in standard specification catalogues. The installation and maintenance of apparatus and machinery will cover service categories relating to work involving installation and de-installation in industrial plants standing alone and on industrial sites. The service contents defined in this DIN SPEC do not correspond to those of the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and do not provide phrasing assistance for specifying construction work (involving buildings, underground constructions, traffic engineering, hydraulic constructions or other civil engineering work) that is dealt with in the Standardleistungsbuch für Bau (STLB-Bau - Book of German standard building performance specifications) and in the Standardleistungsbuch für Zeitarbeitsverträge (STLB-BauZ - Book of German standard performance specifications for temporary work contracts.)
