This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure was developed within a workshop set up on a temporary basis. The DIN SPEC was developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This DIN SPEC specifies requirements for application programming interfaces (API) for applications on cloud platforms with the aim of optimizing the interoperability between platform-as-a-service solutions, tools and value-added services offered by third party providers.
