DIN SPEC 91350:2016-11

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure was developed within a workshop set up on a temporary basis. The DIN SPEC was developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. DIN SPEC 91350 defines the data structure and content requirements for 'BIM-LV-Containers'. It stipulates content requirements for the building model, the specified bill of quantity, the link model and the meta data and defines them using a XML schema. In the BIM process several data exchange phases are implemented. For these exchange phases this document provides the XML schema and the required meta data as a domain-specific form of the 'BIM-LV container'. This document follows the GAEB process acknowledged in Germany and defined by standardized data exchange phases. This document references IFC according to ISO 16739 directly as data format for the exchange of building information models and GAEB DA XML as format for the exchange of specified bill of quantities. Other data formats can be used. In this case these metadata definitions and link model requirements have to be agreed upon specifically for the project in question.
