DIN SPEC 91400:2015-01

The planned DIN SPEC provides a classification and description system for Building Information Modeling (BIM) that allows building data models which are content-compatible with the tendering system STLB-Bau and compatible with the syntax and semantics of the international standard ISO 16739 (Industry Foundation Classes, IFC) to be completed with data. The planned DIN SPEC determines requirements for the component-related, alphanumeric data contents of building data models (BIM). The classification will be available in a web-based lfcXML format and can be used for each individual application when creating building data models.
