This prestandard gives requirements for CE-marked light weight concrete hollow blocks according to DIN EN 771-3 which also needs to be fulfilled to permit their direct application in masonry according to DIN 1053-1, -3, -4 and -100.

DIN V 18151 (2003-10) remains valid alongside this standard until 2006-04-01.
