This preliminary standard specifies the application-related requirements for the characteristics defined in DIN EN 14695 concerning the use of flexible sheets for waterproofing on concrete bridges and in other concrete structures trafficable by vehicles. Designations for the products are also laid down. The concrete structures concerned may be fully exposed to weather conditions or covered (e. g. underground or multi-storey car parks). The application-related requirements for the products specified in clause 5 are also of relevance to the building authorities. In addition, further requirements for flexible sheets for waterproofing are given in clause 4.
