This prestandard applies for joints made from heat shrinking plastic sleeve for extruded solid insulated power cables with nominal voltages U0/U (Um) 0,6/1 (1,2) kV according to HD 603. It describes joints for all common cable types and designs in this voltage range.In addition to information about the assignment of sleeves, their structure and dimensions of mounting, this prestandard also contains information about the inner and protective sleeve used before and after shrinking.
