This guide presents suggestions on application, installation, operation, and maintenance as an aid to obtaining satisfactory performance of indoor and outdoor high-voltage air disconnecting and interrupter switches rated in excess of 1000 Vac.It is offered in recognition of the continuing need for general guidelines to supplement, but not replace, the manufacturer's or user's detailed instructions on installation, operation, and maintenance of disconnecting and interrupter switches.
