This document provides guidance on the use of outdoor power apparatus bushings.
This guide presents general information and recommendations for the application of power apparatus bushings when incorporated as part of power transformers, power circuit breakers, and isolated-phase buses. The loading model developed in this guide is based on oil-impregnated, paper-insulated, capacitance-graded bushings (OIP) and assists manufacturers in their design of resin insulation.
