This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the sodium content of crude oils, liquid petroleum products, heating oils, residual oils and mineral oil distillates by means of atomic absorption spectrometry after incineration of the products. NOTE: For the purpose of this European Standard, the term "% (m/m)" is used to represent the mass fraction.
