Summary
The Design and Conception Rules for Electrical Equipments of Nuclear Islands (RCC-E) concerns the electrical equipments or the software, the failure of which can have consequences on the security of the persons or the nuclear safety of the power plant.
It is designed to be used in the frame of the contractual relationships between customers and suppliers.
The RCC-E code does not treat with on the same level of detail of all the electrical material. Standards applicable to these materials are indeed sufficiently complete in many cases.
