This specification covers fuel-resistant polysulfide (T) sealing compounds supplied as a two-component system.

Rationale:
Five year Review. Viscosity of Curing Agent, Air Content, and Radiographic Density properties were eliminated as technical requirements in accordance with Committee vote. The Thermal Expansion shrinkage requirement changed as a result of a Committee vote. Standard Cure Time hardness requirement was changed to align with other AMS polysufide sealant specifications. For the Accelerated Storage Requirements, Standard Cure Time was added due to a deletion error and Assembly Time was removed because it is only performed on Class C materials and will not be performed for qualification tests. Clarifications were made to align with AS5502. Additional editorial corrections and clarifications were offered.
