Summary
In the 5th edition from 2016 the essential requirements of ISO 9001:2015 (risk-oriented approach) were taken into account and supplemented, among other things, by the content of the VDA Volume “Quality-Related Costs”. From the 1st January 2017 this 5th edition replaces the 4th edition of the year 2010 (2003). From this date at the latest, all 3rd-party audits can be carried out according to VDA 6.1 of this edition.
