VG 81226-2:2015-11

This standard applies to safety markings onboard vessels. The application of safety markings for new building, reconstruction, modification and operating of vessels is determinated in regulations e. g. building guidelines or official instructions. This standard does not apply for marking required for placing on the market and carriage of dangerous goods. Signs and markings for damage control are specified in VG 81226-3 and signs for medical equipment are specified in VG 81226-6.
