Summary
This standard applies to electroexplosive devices (EED) for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The test procedure according to this standard is intended for controlling and demonstrating the immunity of EED against electrostatic discharge. The immunity includes the demonstration of handling safety of EED while being affected by electrostatic discharge and their functional reliability after such discharge. By this standard, only discharge events originating from persons are covered.
