VG 96927-2:2020-06

This generic standard applies to electrical cable assemblies in combination with the detail standards in the following named components. This generic standard includes the general requirements and provisions. It contains information as far as unchanging engineering requirements and test conditions are involved, i.e. properties and provisions that apply to the respective components as well as general procedures, matters of liability, patent law, etc. The detail standard specifies the technical requirements and tests applicable to the respective components. If data of the detail standard differ from those given in the generic standard, data of the detail standard shall apply. For the purposes of the simplified figurative representation of the components in the detail standards VG 96927-3 applies.
