Summary
FVMQ rubber has excellent electrical and dielectric properties, i.e. a very good isolation resistance. FVMQ rubber is a high-grade material. In specific applications and under exclusion of oxygen at elevated temperatures, it may be destroyed by depolymerization. Its gas permeability is higher than that of other rubbers. This has to be taken into account particularly on thin-walled diaphragms.
