The document applies together with EN 124 for manhole tops and gully tops with a clear openings up to and including 1000 mm which are exposed to traffic loads. For the securing of covers within the frame by mass per unit area according to E DIN EN 124-1:2012, 7.6 b) the document specifies the mass per unit to meet the level of safety required in Germany.
