Body templates for seats can be used primarily in the following three areas: a) as an aid to engineering drawing, b) as an aid to construction, and c) as a demonstration aid. Body templates can thus be of use to the engineering draftsman when allowing for the main body dimensions when designing sitting positions at workspaces on chairs, seats, working seats and the seats of vehicles.
