Summary
The standard describes a chemical method for the determination of adsorbed organically bound halogens (AOX) in sludge and sediment. The organic halogens were displaced from the samply by elution with an acid solution. The eluted sludge will be burned in a combustion furnace and the mass per unit mass of AOX determined coulometric.
