DIN 56950-5:2018-07

This standard DIN 56950-5 shall apply to electrical chainhoistsystems used in staging and production facilities for events and theatrical productions. Such chainhoistsystems can be built out of chainhoists based on DIN EN 14492-2 and/or chainhoists which fulfill the safety requirements of DIN 56950-1. Stationary, permanently in staging and production facilities installed machinery installations shall be in accordance to DIN 56950-1. Controls of electrical chainhoistsystems shall be in accordance to DIN EN 60204-32 (VDE 0113-32) and/or in accordance to DIN 56950-1.This standard does not apply to loadbearing equipment or slings.
