This standard contains drawings, dimensions and manufacturing details for inserts for ventilator flaps, which are preferably used in weathertightly lockable ventilator flaps according to DIN 83409.*These inserts consist mainly of either a jalousie, or a framed wire gard of 8 mm mesh width, or of a combination of both jalousie and wire gard.
