Summary

This European draft Standard prEN 203-2-8:2014 specifies the requirements for the construction and operating characteristics relating to safety and the method for measuring rational use of energy of brat pans and paella cookers and supplements or modifies the corresponding clauses of EN 203-1 Gas heated Catering Equipment Part1: Safety requirements. It also states the test methods suitable to check those requirements. This European draft Standard has to be used in conjunction with EN 203-1. With the revision of EN 203-2-8:2006 editorial changes are added, as well as a revision and supplementation of the requirements for the stability and mechanical safety and the construction of the cover, furthermore a test method for the combustion of burners with sequential controls is added.
