Summary
This standard contains the German version of EN 50160:2010 with specifications to the voltage characteristics in public low, medium and high voltage distribution networks. The following characteristics are taken into account: Magnitude and frequency of the voltage, slow and rapid voltage changes and flicker, dips and short and long interruptions of the voltage, temporary power frequency overvoltages and transient overvoltages between live conductors and earth, voltage unbalance, harmonics, interharmonics and mains signalling voltage on the supply voltage, whereby values cannot be given to all characteristics. The values given in this standard do not serve as values of te electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and do not serve the specification fo requirements in product standards.
Notes
DIN EN 50160 (2008-04) remains valid alongside this standard until 2015-03-01.*A transition period, as set out in DIN EN 50160/A1 (2016-02) and DIN EN 50160 (2020-11), exists until 2022-09-20.
