Summary
This amendment to EN 50160:2010 presents different further developments to clarify the defined ranges of power frequency and to implement a more detailed concept of some data to be evaluated and a first approach for the inclusion of voltages characteristics in the frequency range from 2 kHz to 150 kHz. The standard specifies the voltage characteristics in public low, medium and high voltage distribution networks. The following characteristics are taken into account: Magnitude and frequency of the voltage, slow and rapid voltage changes and flicker, dips and short and long interruptions of the voltage, temporary power frequency overvoltages and transient overvoltages between live conductors and earth, voltage unbalance, harmonics, interharmonics and mains signalling voltage on the supply voltage.
