This European standard is applicable to semi automatic turntable ladders comprising chassis, bodywork and a powered lifting device with or without rescue cage and classified into class 18, 24 or 30. Semi-automatic turntable ladders are principally used for rescuing people, for the execution of technical auxiliary works and for fire-fighting.
